NG Energy Performance Certificates is a sole trader business providing domestic Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments in and around Nottingham. This policy explains what information is collected through this website and when carrying out an assessment, and how it's used.
If you use the contact form or contact us by phone or email, we collect your name, contact details, property address or postcode, and anything else you choose to tell us. When carrying out an EPC assessment, we record property details, photographs and floor measurements as required by RdSAP methodology, this data is submitted to the national EPC register as part of producing your certificate.
Your information is used only to provide a quote, arrange access, carry out the assessment, produce and lodge your certificate, and invoice for the work. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, other than the statutory lodgement of the completed EPC on the national register, which is a legal requirement of the assessment itself.
Records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax, and Elmhurst accreditation audit purposes, typically no longer than six years, in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements.
Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it for legal reasons. To do this, contact us using the details below.
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Basic, anonymised hosting and traffic logs may be collected by our website host for security and performance purposes.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@ngenergycertificates.co.uk.
This is a general policy suited to a small sole trader business. If your data handling changes, for example if you start using paid advertising trackers or store data with a third-party CRM, this page should be updated to reflect that.
